Lace up your running shoes and get ready to join F3 Huntsville for their exciting new event, Erika’s Run. Erika’s Run is a commemorative event in honor of Erika Holt, the spouse of F3 member Mike Holt. Erika was diagnosed with Stage IV Melanoma and fought bravely for over three years before passing away on November 15, 2022. Erika was always determined to support cancer research and patients and their families. She wanted to communicate hope for a cure to others who are battling this disease.
About the Race
Erika’s Run is taking place on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at John Hunt Park. There are two options for runners to choose from: a 5K race and a 2K fun run. The 5K race is a modified course with boot camp (F3) activities. However, runners are welcome to participate in the 5K race without the added obstacles.
